Negotiation Techniques for Women

Women’s Enterprise Centre has partnered with BLG as part of their DRIVEN BY WOMEN initiative to offer a 3 part presentation series. The first topic in the series is Negotiation Techniques for Women.
Being able to negotiate well can have a key impact not only on business negotiations but on your personal life and career.
During this session you will learn common styles and approaches to negotiation as well as negotiation tactics and how best to use them to your advantage. We will discuss when and how to share information, consider strategies on offers and counteroffers, and learn about interests-based negotiation and BATNAs.
We will also consider ethics in negotiation and when, if ever, it is effective to “bluff”. Bring your questions for an active discussion at the end.
