Breakfast with Brands, May 14th, Vancouver

Join us Thursday, May 14th 2015 in Vancouver for Breakfast with Brands! Women’s Enterprise Centre is partnering with WBE Canada and GroYourBiz to offer women business owners a chance to connect with high-profile corporations and procurement specialists over breakfast. Take advantage of this opportunity to make meaningful business introductions with other women business enterprises (WBE’s), and large corporations that are focusing on growing connections within the BC and greater western region of Canada. This half-day event offers the opportunity for women business owners to connect with corporations and each other to learn about and experience supplier diversity. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with those championing supplier diversity in BC. A full list of companies attending will be available in May. WBENC National Conference & Business Fair, June 22 – 26, Austin, TX

Join the Honourable Dr. K Kellie Leitch, the Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, along with DFATD’s Business Women in International Trade (BWIT), and WEC, on a trade mission to Austin, Texas for the largest annual business fair for women entrepreneurs. Access over 300 national and international buyers, and attend educational workshops and lectures that will help take your business to the next level.

Although the WBENC conference doesn’t start officially start until June 23, WEConnect International will host its annual International Day on June 22, so plan your flights and hotels accordingly! The WEConnect International Day is open only to WEConnect Certified WBE’s.

Kath Britton is a Senior Business Advisor for Women’s Enterprise Centre. Kath works directly with women business owners to provide one-on-one complimentary business guidance. She reviews and provides feedback on business plans, evaluates loan applications, and provides support to current loan clients. Kath has been working with Women’s Enterprise Centre since 2010.
