1. How do Mentor Advisory Forums work?
Simply register online and you will receive instructions on how to access the teleconference or webinar. You can send in your questions on the topic ahead of time.
During the session, a panel of two to three Mentors shares tips, tools and insights about the selected topic and answers your questions. The facilitator will guide a question and discussion period at the end (time permitting) and you will receive helpful links, tools or tips in a follow-up email.
5. Can I suggest a topic for a Mentor Advisory Forum?
Yes we are open to offering MAFs on any business topic that’s important to BC entrepreneurs. Please make sure that the topic is very specific; broad topics like Marketing Strategies or Financial Forecasting are just too large to cover in a one-hour session. If you have a suggestion, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
6. How do I participate as a Mentor panelist?
Mentor Advisory Forums are a great way for busy entrepreneurs to give back!
To volunteer, each forum only takes an hour and a half of your time. There is a half-hour meeting held a few days before the forum to review the submitted questions, and then you will need to attend the one-hour Mentor Advisory Forum. That’s it!
