Canada-BC Agri-Innovation Program Application Deadline
Investment Agriculture Foundation (IAF) is thrilled to announce they are now accepting applications for the 2021-22 fiscal year for projects under the Canada-BC Agri-Innovation Program (CBCAIP).
Funded through the federal-provincial-territorial Canadian Agricultural Partnership, the five-year cost-shared program is designed to advance innovation and competitiveness in BC’s agriculture, agri-food or agri-products sectors.
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants include producers, processors, industry associations, private businesses, academic institutions and local governments.
What can I use funding for?
Eligible activities may include the late-stage research and development, piloting and demonstration, and commercialization and adoption of innovative products, practices, processes or technologies for:
- The advancement of plant, animal and food science
- The management of energy and waste
- Improvements in soil, water and air quality
- Climate change adaptation
How Much Funding Is Available?
There are no prescribed funding limits for CBCAIP projects, however, funding is expected to be cost-shared. Eligible projects may be funded up to 75% in cases where the potential benefit to industry is demonstrated to be substantial.
