Canada’a First Women-Only Virtual Business Mission to South Korea Application Deadline
The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada) is pleased to announce that it will lead Canada’s First Women-only Virtual Business Mission to the Republic of Korea (South Korea) on November 3-4, 2020. Following the success of the first women-only business mission to Japan in April 2019, APF Canada will continue helping women entrepreneurs in Canada to diversify and expand trade opportunities into other Asian markets.
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on international travel, the mission is pivoting to a technology-enabled virtual format. While the virtual model cannot fully replace the value of an in-market mission (which was originally scheduled for February 2020), it will feature the same components, including a two-day conference with high-level speakers from Canada and South Korea, personalized business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking for the twenty official delegates, and networking opportunities for attendees.
Additionally, the virtual format of the event enables participation by an unlimited number of women entrepreneurs across Canada as non-delegate participants to both the pre-mission training sessions and the mission’s two-day conference agenda. This online format allows us to reach and connect a broader range of women entrepreneurs who are interested in exporting to Asian markets, regardless of where they are in Canada or their stage of export readiness.
Delegate applications will be accepted until Sept. 21st.
