Gender Lens Investing and Deepening the Impact of your Portfolio
Join us on January 31st for an engaging morning discussion on the financial and social impacts of gender lens investing, and understanding how gender affects your investment choices.
What is exactly is gender lens investing?
It’s a form of investing in which investors seek specifically to generate both a positive financial return on their investment, and a beneficial impact on the lives of women. It’s also a multi-faceted way to support gender investments — whether its supporting female-led ventures, supporting female investors, products and services with positive impact on women and girls as well as human rights and social justice issues. It’s about recognizing that so much of the way that we allocate capital is gendered, allowing one to be better aware of our biases, we can be aware of the opportunities, we can make much better investment decisions.
At this event you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Explore the different ways in which a gender lens can be incorporated, whether its supporting female-led ventures, supporting female investors, products and services with positive impact on women and girls as well as human rights and social justice issues,
- Hear some great ideas and investment strategies that can illustrate how it all works
