Let’s Talk about Imposter Syndrome
February 6, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Ever felt like you landed that job with luck and good connections (but not on your own merit)? Or like you don’t belong at the table?
Maybe you don’t feel qualified for certain tasks, or you expect people to think you’re bad at math.
Whatever the situation, these fraudy feelings are now known as imposter syndrome, which according to Physchology Today is “A psychological phenomenon in which people are unable to internalize their accomplishments.”
We feel it in the small moments, the little conversations and the moments in which we need to believe in ourselves most.
So, we’re opening up a conversation to shed light on this phenomenon and share experiences, thoughts and feelings on the topic as well as examples of imposter syndrome in action AND what you can do to start battling your own fraudy feelings.
