New Exporters to Border States 2020
January 23 - January 24
Are you interested in exporting to the US Pacific Northwest?
British Columbia Ministry of Jobs, Trade and Technology, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle will host an educational mission for British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan agrifood and seafood companies in Seattle on January 23-24, 2020.
This mission provides an excellent opportunity for B.C. companies, with little to no previous international trade experience, to be introduced to exporting, and to explore the potential of the US Pacific Northwest market firsthand (Note: This is not a selling mission).
There is no fee to participate in the program. Bus transportation Vancouver-Seattle-Vancouver, a lunch and refreshments will be provided. Companies are responsible to pay for all other travel expenses including, but not limited to, accommodation, meals and incidentals.
Companies interested in this opportunity will be selected as part of an application process in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and must confirm that their products are produced or processed in B.C.
Applications will be reviewed on a first come first serve basis. Once your application has been assessed, you will receive notification by email. Space is limited, APPLY NOW.
The program will accept applications until January 6, 2020. Applicants may be accepted to a waitlist once the program is full.
