Peer Mentoring Groups

We are excited to invite you to join our Peer Mentoring Circles exclusively for RRRF loan clients!

Whether you’re a seasoned entrepreneur or a first-time business owner, navigating your business recovery can be a daily challenge. The road forward demands resiliency, creativity and risk-taking to find new ways of doing business but you are not alone.

Our Peer Mentoring Circles open the door to improve your business knowledge, gain insight, new ideas, opinions and feedback from an outside perspective.

Facilitated by an experienced Women’s Enterprise Centre Business Advisor each session provides the opportunity to connect with other women entrepreneurs to support and encourage one another to stay motivated, and boost your business skills on a topic that you can apply to your business recovery.

What: 60-minute sessions offered monthly from July – December in 2021
When: The 3rd Monday of each month at 11am – 12pm PT; attend the sessions that interest you

Dawn McCooey, Entrepreneur in Residence

Dawn has owned her own career consulting company for over 20 years. Dawn has worked with various businesses and government in organizational development and HR management. She was voted “Best Boss in Victoria” and is the author of Amazon bestseller, Keeping Good Employees On Board.

Kelly Masson,
Business Advisor

Kelly is an advisor who has worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes. Starting as a management consultant, she now works with women entrepreneurs to help them build businesses that are successful on their terms. Kelly uses her analytical brain to help businesses systematically prioritize and tackle issues.

Archana Samtani Singhania,
Business Advisor

Archana is a strategist with 15+ years hands-on experience who has steered many small and mid-organizations to new levels of performance and growth. She has navigated all phases of enterprise initiatives – building new programs, reshaping and rolling out processes, and e-commerce.

Sarah Guizzo,
Business Advisor

Sarah is a seasoned Business Advisor with many years of experience in the lending space. She conducts business plan reviews and provides
personalized support to Women’s Enterprise Centre’s loan clients. Sarah practices a focused and solution based approach in assisting businesses to maximize their funding usage.
