Donna Gallinger, Sec./Treasurer
Donna Gallinger, CPA, CGA, has worked in financial accounting for 28 years. She is also a partner/owner of commercial real estate investments, a personal investment corporation and a small carpentry business.
Donna started her career as a secretary for a public accounting firm and quickly moved into an accounting position while she worked toward her CGA designation. In 1995, Donna received her designation, having accomplished the highest marks in BC in Level 3 of the CGA program and in Advanced Taxation. She immediately became a partner of Hryciuk Gallinger, Certified General Accountants, and has since received various Kootenay Best of Business awards.
Donna credits mentoring for guiding her professional journey and helping her become a successful and confident business owner. Donna is now paying it forward as a mentor to CGA students as well as a business mentor to a large, diverse group of clients. Donna delivers a full range of business advisory and assurance solutions to help her clients achieve and expand their goals, including accounting, auditing, corporate and personal taxation and business consultations.
As a woman in business, Donna understands the challenges that women face in the business industry and the struggle of managing a healthy work/life balance. She is passionate about helping women succeed as entrepreneurs, assisting them in all stages of their working lives—from the start-up and growth of their business, to estate and succession planning for the final stages of their careers.
Donna lives in Cranbrook with her husband and two boys. She has volunteered on many sporting committees and has been involved with women’s career days at the College of the Rockies.
